Men sought audience with Jesus, but they were outsiders—Greeks, not known as seekers of Israel’s God. But they pressed for a meeting with the Messiah. Their one request? “We would see Jesus” (John 12:21). One can only speculate at the conversation and the outcome, but their appeal rings out as even man’s need—to see Jesus, to encounter the divine, and to be wonderfully consumed with all that He is.
We have focused this year’s Men’s Conference on grasping a greater vision of the wonder of Jesus—to gaze with unveiled eyes upon the glory, splendor, and majesty of the Son of God. May God help us to peel back the layers that cloud our view, so as to renew our zeal for living flat-out full-throttle for Jesus!
